One of the four kings of reggae vocalists, alongside Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, and Sugar Minott, Gregory Isaacs was affectionately known as "Mr. Cool Ruler"
This 1990 reissue of his classic "Storm"—originally featured on his 1977 album Mr. Isaacs—offers a slightly more upbeat tempo with subtle sound effects, making for a refreshing update to the legendary track.
In 1991, another reissue was released under the Penthouse label.

Original: Tappa Zukie – Oh Lord
Tappa Zukie started holding the mic under the influence of his sound system-owning older brother. In 1973, he traveled to London, where he recorded his debut single and quickly made a name for himself in the dance scene. After returning to Jamaica in 1974, he built an unusual career—simultaneously serving as a bodyguard for Bunny Lee while pursuing music. As a producer, he had a keen eye for talent, shaping the careers of various artists through his labels Stars and Tappa. Among his many powerful productions, "Oh Lord" stands out as his biggest-selling hit and most famous work. With its deep, heavy one-drop riddim and a memorable call-and-response style, this foundation tune remains a dancehall favorite, inspiring later remakes from labels like Black Roots, Black Solidarity, Jammys, and Digital B, leading to numerous hit songs.

サウンド・システムを運営していた兄の影響もあり、マイクを握る様になったタッパ・ズーキー。
1973年にロンドンに渡り、ロンドンにおいて
デビュー・シングルを録音。ダンスでも頭角を表し、翌74年に帰国を果たすとバニー・リーの用心棒と並行して音楽活動も行う変わったキャリアを築く。
プロデューサーとして様々なヒット曲を手掛け、スターズ(Stars)、タッパ(Tappa)といった自身のレーベルを立ち上げると様々なアーティストの特性を発見。磨き上げる事に類稀なる才能を発揮し、同時に自身の素晴らしいパフォーマンスを生み出す事にも成功しました。
彼が生み出した強力な楽曲群の中でも最高の売り上げを記録し、一番の代表作に挙げられる「Oh Lord」
ズシリと重たいワン・ドロップ・スタイルのリズムに印象的なコール・アンド・レスポンス、現在のダンスホールでも高い人気を誇るファウンデーション・チューンはその後のリメイクでも知られ、Black RootsやBlack Solidarity,
