
Bob James' ninth album, "Sign of the Times" released in 1981, continues to delight with its captivating tracks.
The opening track, "Hypnotique," feels like a preview for a sci-fi movie. A2, "The Steamin' Feelin'" showcases Bob's take on a refreshing boogie and was sampled by Subway in "Giving My Love to You" B1, "Unicorn" has been used by Gravediggaz in "Blood Brothers" while the title track, B2, is known for being sampled by De La Soul and others. As always, this album is packed with enjoyable and inventive music.
