Bob James released his second album on his own label "Tappan Zee" in 1978, titled "Touchdown"
From the birth of HIP HOP until now, his works have likely provided as many, if not more, sampling sources than JB's. Among his extensive catalog, this particular album stands out as a collection where every track has been sampled. The album includes the popular TV drama "Taxi" theme song, "Angela (Theme From 'Taxi')" the fusion classic title track "Touchdown" and "Sun Runner" used in The Bins' "See the Sky" among other impressive tracks. This album is truly remarkable with its five standout tracks!
