A soul group that took its name from the nickname of their hometown, Chicago, Windy City released this debut single in 1974! The A-side features a superb sweet and mellow tune written by group member Darryl Butler, which was later included as the closing track on their only album, “Let Me Ride,” released in 1977. The flip side, “Hey It’s Over,” written by Raymond Bennett, is a 45-only track — an excellent AOR-style number so good that it’s almost puzzling why it never made it onto the album.
