71年発表の3rdアルバム「The Brand New Z.Z. Hill」に収録されている「I Think I'd Do It」はUBBクラシックスであり、BLUESリバイバルのきっかけとなった82年作「Down Home」のヒットでも知られたシンガー、Z.Z. HillことArzell Hill。人気絶頂だった84年の本日、交通事故の怪我がもとで亡くなりました。享年49歳。

故人を偲ぶ一枚は彼の通算5作目で、ユナイテッド・アーティスツからは2枚目となる74年リリースのアルバム「Z.Z.」
